Conrad Murray and Janet Jackson's ex-husband James DeBarge enjoy double-date lunch in Beverly Hills

The doctor convicted of Michael Jackson's death and Janet Jackson's ex-husband formed an odd pairing on Tuesday as they went to lunch with their girlfriends in Beverly Hills, California.
Conrad Murray, 61, walked next to former jail neighbour James DeBarge, 50, as they grabbed lunch during a double-date to the Crustacean seafood restaurant.
Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in November 2011 for the June 25, 2009 death of pop superstar Michael.

Further details of the royal's controversial - and, clearly, very lavish - ski holiday to Kazakhstan emerged yesterday and are unlikely to sit comfortably with human rights campaigners who have already condemned the trip. Friends of the fourth in line to throne have openly boasted about their four-day jaunt, even posting pictures from inside their plane on social media. They include Tereza Maxova (left), the girlfriend of Turkish-born property developer Burak Oymen, who has made millions from luxury developments in the country and is believed to have paid for the trip, and (right) Anna Solheim, the wife of polar adventurer Inge Solheim, who organised the weekend.

Now Thailand says its satellites have spotted '300 floating objects' in the southern Indian Ocean hunt for wreckage from flight MH370

How events unfolded: The plane went missing on March 8, with a British satellite firm tracking its last known location to an area in the Indian Ocean that's 622,000 square miles
The objects ranged from two to 15 metres in size and were scattered over an area about 2,700 kilometres southwest of Perth, Thailand's space agency has said. The latest potential lead comes as the search was suspended today due to heavy rain, winds and low clouds. Satellite images yesterday revealed 122 objects in the southern Indian Ocean that could be debris from the Malaysian jetliner missing since March 8 with 239 people on board, Malaysia's acting transport minister said.

MH370: Pilot was 'in no state to be flying' due to devastation over marriage collapse

Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah had allegedly been left distraught over his wife's decision to move out of their family home and may have taken one "last joyride" before crashing his passenger jet into the Indian Ocean.
A long-time friend of Mr Shah claims the experienced pilot had been left shaken by his marital issues and warned it was "very possible that neither the passengers nor the other crew on board knew what was happening until it was too late".
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the friend told the New Zealand Herald: "He's one of the finest pilots around and I'm no medical expert, but with all that was happening in his life Zaharie was probably in state of mind to be flying.

Despite being involved with another woman, MH370's captain was still heartbroken when his wife told him of her intention to leave their family home.
The friend added that it was "very possible that neither the passengers nor the other crew on board knew what was happening until it was too late".
The amazing revelation comes as a French satellite has revealed 122 objects in the southern Indian Ocean which could be debris from the missing Malaysian Airlines jet.

INVESTIGATION: Efforts are continuing on the sea and in the air to find the plane [EPA]
Acting Malaysian transport minister Hishammuddin Hussein told a news conference the images were captured by France-based Airbus Defence and Space on March 23.
The objects are believed to be solid and vary from one metre to 23 metres in length.
It is yet to be confirmed whether the pieces of debris are from the crashed MH370.
Efforts to find the planes's wreckage have restarted after the poor weather which delayed yesterday's search operations cleared.

Loving texts exchanged between the couple were read out in court yesterday as the defence tried to paint them as a tragic “Romeo and Juliet” pair.
In one message, Reeva, who was 27 when she died, sent a snap of herself wearing a hoodie and making a kissing face.
She messaged Oscar and said: “You like it?”
He said: “I love it.”
She also texted him saying: “You are a very special person. You deserve to be looked after.”
“It’s a tough time. We’ve got a lot of stuff ahead of us”
Oscar Pistorius
The court heard Reeva called the Paralympian, 27, “Ozzie” and he called her “Baba”. Reeva also sent him a text saying: “Truth is I miss you, every second, every minute, every hour, every day.”
Barry Roux, defending, told the court in Pretoria the texts were full of kisses and pet names and rows were quickly resolved.
But chief prosecutor Gerrie Nel said the affectionate messages were brief in contrast to the longer texted arguments.
Pistorius fatally shot Reeva on Valentine’s Day last year but denies murder. He says he mistook her for an intruder. Prosecutors say he killed her after a row.
Speaking outside court yesterday, Pistorius said: “It’s a tough time. We’ve got a lot of stuff ahead of us.”
