 A 16-year-old girl was so outraged after a Facebook dispute with her best friend that she murdered the young girl by stabbing her in the back 65 times.

MetroNewsUK reports that Erandy Elizabeth Gutierrez was furious after she received messages that alerted her to the fact that her friend had uploaded naked pictures of the pair to the social network. She told her friend, Anel Baez, also 16, that she would be lucky to survive until the end of the year.

‘It may seem that I am very calm, but in my head I have killed you at least three times,’ Gutierrez wrote to Baez via Twitter.

MI6 and the CIA have been helping Malaysian investigators look for reasons behind the Boeing 777 jet's disappearance after it lost all contact more than three weeks ago on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
Malaysia's Defence Minister Mr Hishammuddin Hussein said the two agencies were working with Chinese spy agencies to try to find out why the plane suddenly changed course and headed to the west with its 239 mainly Chinese passengers and crew.

Mr Hishammuddin declined to put forward his personal thoughts, keeping instead to the official line that investigators were looking into the possibility of terrorism, hijacking, personal or psychological problems among passengers and crew or technical failure.
'These scenarious have been discussed at length with different intelligence agencies,' said the Minister.
MI6 agents have been particularly interested in checking out terrorism links following disclosures in a US court by a British man, Saajid Badad, who claimed that in 2001 he gave a shoe-bomb to some Malaysian men who wanted to blow open a plane's cockpit door and carry out a September 11-style hijacking.
The Minister said that the British, the Americans and the Chinese were 'all on board', helping in particular to examine 'pings' sent out by the Boeing 777 to look for clues to its flight and whereabouts.

The relaxed family portrait was taken at Kensington Palace and officially released ahead of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s tour of New Zealand and Australia next month.
They will be accompanied by their son for the first time on an official overseas tour when they visit the Southern Hemisphere.
The royal party will arrive in Australia on Monday 7 April and spend three weeks away from home.
In 1983 the Prince and Princess of Wales took a then nine-month old William to Australia and New Zealand with them.
William and his family certainly won't be travelling alone though as a royal entourage of 11 people will accompany them on the trip.
Among the party will be a nanny and a hairdresser.
William's last official trip to New Zealand and Australia took place in March 2011, when he was in Christchurch, soon after it suffered an earthquake, and in Queensland and Victoria, which had been hit by floods.

Riddle of ‘lost’ cop probe files: More records may have been shredded

POLICE last night admitted more anti-corruption files may have been shredded – but they have no idea how many.

Files from Operation Othona – a secret probe that may have spawned as many as 62 inquiries – were ­destroyed in 2001.

Now, there are questions over whether files on Operations Gayle, Gallery, Belize, Ashburn and Two Bridges met a similar fate.

The Metropolitan Police investigations had uncovered claims of police dishonesty when they took place in the 1990s.

All featured the name of John Davidson, a detective who worked on the original botched Stephen Lawrence murder investigation.

But last night the Met could not tell us if complete files on the operations still exist.

A spokesman said: “The sheer volume of anti-corruption activity and the scale of the organisation has generated a huge number of records since the 1990s.

“We accept that historically the Met did not keep good records of what was retained or destroyed”

The existence of the probes was revealed in a report earlier this month by Mark Ellison QC. He looked at claims of corruption surrounding the investigation into the 1993 murder of 18-year-old Stephen and which files the Met gave to a public inquiry.
His report also exposed a document revealing how Davidson worked on the original flawed probe into the 1987 murder of private eye Daniel Morgan.
It included a July 2000 “intelligence analysis” listing probes into police wrongdoing in which Det Sgt Davidson’s name cropped up.
Davidson, who retired in 1998 before a disciplinary hearing, never faced charges and told Ellison he was not corrupt.
The 65-year-old Scot, who now runs a bar in Menorca, added: “No evidence whatsoever was found of corruption on my part.”
Paul Flynn, an MP on the Home Affairs Select Committee, told us: “I would say the multiple intelligence against Davidson is persuasive that a major inquiry is required…with the possibility of extradition.”

Outrageous: Paedophile was given new UK passport whilst on-the-run

A BRITISH paedophile was handed a new UK passport while on the run abroad after skipping bail for child sex crimes.

It is believed to have been issued to Richard Fruin, 36, by the ­British High Commission in ­Malaysia.

He was later captured and sent home where he was jailed.

But he was allowed to keep the passport after his release and fled to Cambodia where he took a teaching job and abused three more children.

Last Monday in the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh he was jailed for two years for the offences.

He will be deported to Britain on his release.

Fruin was arrested in Cambodia last October when police raided a guest house in Phnom Penh and found him in a room with a half-dressed eight-year-old boy. He had earlier abused the boy’s brothers, aged ten and 11.

“If police had not taken action I don’t know what he would have done,” the boys’ mother said at the time of Fruin’s capture.

During the raid police seized the passport Fruin used to escape to Cambodia. He had obtained it in March 2012 while in Malaysia after more than six years on the run.

He had skipped bail in 2005 after police found 300 films and photographs, including depraved images of children, at his home in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
Fruin ended up in Malaysia where High Commission officials would have been able to check a database to see if he was a wanted man. The Home Office has refused to confirm if Fruin was flagged up.
All UK passports applications are now processed in Britain.
Fruin was deported from Malaysia in May 2012 and later jailed for a year for having indecent images.
He was allowed to keep his passport after his release and used it to head to Cambodia despite being on the Sex Offenders Register which ­required him to tell police of his travel plans.
Last night, the Government was facing questions as to why Fruin was handed a British passport while he was a fugitive, then allowed to use it to flee abroad again.
A spokesman for Her Majesty’s Passport Office said: “We rely on law enforcement ­agencies to advise us of any ­information that would prevent an individual being entitled to a ­passport.”

Yesterday it was announced the BBC has commissioned two more years of The Voice.
But one source said top execs were adamant the show needed Kylie to stay top of the ratings on Saturday nights.
Since she joined the panel alongside Ricky Wilson, 36, The Voice has regularly thrashed telly favourites Ant & Dec to be the most-watched show in its slot.
As Kylie showcased her sexy look in the latest issue of Attitude magazine, out on ­Wednesday, insiders said bosses are more desperate than ever to keep her.
Our source said: “They know Kylie is the reason millions are tuning in every week and keeping her is vital if the show is going to continue being a success.”
We told last Sunday how fellow coach Sir Tom Jones, 73, fears ratings will plummet without Kylie.
He said: “It’s working now and everybody seems to like the line-up.
"So why spoil it, why change it if it’s working?”
Will.i.am, 39, also warned he would quit as a coach if Kylie refused to come back.
He told us: “If she’s leaving, I’m leaving.”

Spy in the sky: Soldiers use drones to monitor the Taliban

SPECIAL forces soldiers are using “spy in the sky” drones to monitor the Taliban and prevent attacks on British forces preparing to leave Helmand.

More than 5,000 soldiers are packing up equipment at Camp Bastion in the final months of the Afghan campaign.

Commanders ordered the SAS mission over fears the Taliban are preparing to mount an offensive next month – dubbed the “shooting season” – as they have done every year since 2006.

A new unmanned aerial unit has been created and the SAS soldiers – motto “Who Dares Wins” – have been issued with tiny planes and ­helicopters fitted with cameras.

Specialists from Royal Marine and Royal Artillery air defence units who have spent months training in the California desert to hone their skills on the new equipment have been attached to the special forces patrols.

Some of the drones are launched from base while smaller, hand-held examples are carried in a backpack and launched by a specialist.

A senior source revealed that since the hi-tech kit was introduced it has made a significant impact, with special forces being able to call in air power to deal with any threats.

“If something is seen, Afghan forces are sent in and we follow”

The source said: “It allows a much bigger area to be monitored than could be achieved on foot and has allowed us to dominate the battle space.
"If something is seen, Afghan forces are sent in and we follow.
"But if there is an imminent threat to UK soldiers then we will eliminate it ourselves or with Reaper drones.”
The full-sized Reapers, which have clocked up 50,000 hours’ flying time in ­Afghanistan, can fire Hellfire missiles and drop 500lb bombs.
As well as the tiny helicopters, called Black Hornets, which can look ahead of a patrol to identify hidden dangers, the SAS have been issued with miniature planes that can fly in unnoticed.
The Hornet relays video and still images to troops via a handheld terminal.
They can either pilot it directly or program it to fly to a given set of GPS co-ordinates on the battlefield.

But iconic James Bond actor Sir Sean Connery, a long-time Scottish nationalist, wants independence.
The 83-year-old said recently: “The Yes campaign has centred on a positive vision for Scotland.

His calls for the Scottish public to break away have been mirrored by fellow actors Alan Cumming, 49, Brian Cox, 67, and comedians Frankie Boyle, 41, and Kevin Bridges, 27.
Other high-profile Scots including Andy Murray, 26, Annie Lennox, 59, and Billy Connolly, 71, have remained silent.
Opinion polls show about half of Scottish voters oppose separation while a third are in support.
About 16% are undecided.
Meanwhile, Chancellor George ­Osborne yesterday dismissed the idea that an ­independent Scotland could keep the pound after a newspaper had quoted an unnamed minister ­saying that “of course” Scotland would be able to share the currency if there was a Yes vote.

TMZ report that the rapper 'slinked' into a police station on Thursday, for less than an hour and avoided being seen.

TMZ reveal that to avoid a big fanfare, Kanye and his lawyer carefully chose to arrive at the LAPD station in Hollywood at 4:30pm to get his mugshot taken.

FOOTAGE has emerged of the shocking moment a subway train derails and crashes its way up an escalator - narrowly missing two people.

Travellers were left stunned as the eight-car commuter train derailed at the underground station for Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
Some 32 people on bored suffered injuries, but luckily none were life-threatening.
The accident happened at 3am, meaning the casualty number is far lower than it could have been.
The station would be filled with thousands of people at rush-hour.
Passenger Denise Adams told the Chicago Sun-Times she heard a loud noise during the impact.

"I heard a 'Boom!' and when I got off the train, the train was all the way up the escalator," she said. "It was a lot of panic."
CTA investigators along with the city fire department and police are reviewing security footage to pin down the cause of the accident. National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation.
"We will be looking at equipment. We will be looking at signals. We'll be looking at the human factor and any extenuating circumstances," CTA spokesman Brian Steele said.
"But really at this point, it's far too soon to speculate."
Transit agency officials said crews were working to remove the train and fix the escalator, which received "significant damage."
Hours after the crash, the front of the first car could still be seen near the top of the escalator.

The train appeared to have been going too fast as it approached the end-of-line station and didn't stop at a bumping post – a metal shock absorber at the end of the tracks.
"The train actually climbed over the last stop, jumped up on the sidewalk and then went up the stairs and escalator," Fire Commissioner Jose Santiago said.
Steele added it wasn't clear how many people were on board at the time of the crash, but that it took place during what is "typically among our lowest ridership time".
The injured were taken to area hospitals and Santiago said most were able to walk away from the wreck unaided.

A GIANT criminal escaped being jailed because he is too big for prison beds.

Jude Medcalf, 23, fi red a BB pellet gun at his girlfriend and stole Christmas presents and money from an office.
But the 7ft 2in Medcalf walked free after Exeter Crown Court heard he suffered from the growth disorder Klinefelter Syndrome.

The Voice judge says: "You can't have everything, so I'd rather just focus on what I have instead of what I don't have"

Kylie Minogue has revealed she's coming to terms with not having children following her break up with Spanish model Andrés Velencoso last October.

The 45-year-old singer and judge on The Voice said the split with Andrés, 35, after their five year relationship has forced her to accept that she will never have children.

In an interview with the Mail, she said: "I don't know how many more times I can say, if it happens, it happens.

"But I think maybe part of this frame of mind I'm in, trying to be calm and accepting and at peace with where I am, is really acknowledging that it just might not be written on the pages for me.

"You can't have everything, so I'd rather just focus on what I have instead of what I don't have."

Instead, she says she is fully focused on her career, both as a singer and a TV talent judge.

She said: "I was determined that last year was going to be a big year of change. Everything in my life changed. After having the same manager, an Australian, for 25 years, I got new management in LA. Americans work very differently to Brits and Australians, so it was like trying to learn a new language.

"Then my assistant, who'd been with me for 12 years, moved back to Australia. So I was basically floundering around on my own, trying to keep my relationship going.

"He [Andrés] was very supportive throughout that, kind of acknowledging that I wanted a separation - not from him but from the old ways that I had. I'm sure that had something to do with our break-up."

Duchess of Cambridge pregnant with twins?

The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with twins! She isn't really (she hasn't mentioned it to us, anyway), but that hasn't stopped an American gossip magazine proclaiming 'the thrilling news that shocked the palace' on its cover.

The claims have been made by the US version of OK! Magazine. Its coverlines shout: "Pregnant Kate TWINS!"

Followed by: "Kate says she's loving her 'mommy weight'" and "William tells queen he wants two daughters."

But inside the mag, it would seem the Duchess isn't pregnant after all: the couple have just been talking about it, well, at least according to a 'source'.

The 'source' revealed to the March 17 issue that the Royal couple have been planning a pregnancy since the beginning of the year, despite Prince George being just seven months old, and apparently it is Prince William who is keen to have twins.

The 'source' said: "She and William had been trying since January. Wills told the queen (sic) he'd love to have at least two daughters. With all the boys in his family, he's trying to even up the balance."

The 'source' added: "Everyone expected them to wait until George was a year old before trying again, to give her body a chance to rebalance its hormones. But Kate feels so fantastic and healthy right now, there's no reason to wait."

So she's not expecting then? So the coverline is an hysterical flam-up? So Wills confided in an unnamed source that he'd told the Queen (notice the initial cap: Her Maj is THE!) he wants two daughters?
