But now a Throwback Thursday snap from a pal has sparked up rumours that the Disney babe is closer to One Direction's Niall Horan than we previously thought.
While the pair were snapped by a fan on a night out while Selena visited London last month, it turns out the beauty may have actually visited Niall's HOUSE – thus fulfilling the dreams of millions of teenage superfans.
The 21-year-old's pal Samantha Droke posted a snap on her Instagram account yesterday, writing: "That time in London Town so much love for this one #lilsis #TBT #missu."

But while the beauties looked incredible in the snap, nobody was really focussing on their display of friendship.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the room in which they were sitting looked suspiciously similar to a certain 1D's bachelor pad.
Directioners immediately pointed out the results of their investigation, with one writing: "Niall's home?????" and another fan posting: "That is Niall's house!"
Anyone who follows the Irish singer's Instagram has regular access to peeks at Horan's house, due to his regular snaps of his lush living room to illustrate what he's watching on TV.
Niall and Selena first sparked rumours of a blossoming relationship after a lucky fan ran into them on the streets of London back in February.
