
The monarch, wearing pale blue, (centre) spoke of her pride at being associated with the Royal Navy, and called the huge ship a 'magnificent achievement' at Rosyth Dockyard in Fife, accompanied by Prince Philip (left). A specially-chosen bottle of Islay malt whisky was broken (top left) against the hull of the 65,000-tonne vessel, which is expected to become fully operational in 2020. The commemoration was also marked by a dramatic flypast from the Red Arrows (bottom right) before a speech in which the Queen described the ship as 'a source of inspiration'
