Mr and Mrs Kanye West have ditched tropical settings and beach resorts to spend their first days as newlyweds in Co. Cork, Ireland.
The pair, who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Florence on Saturday, were snapped landing at Cork Airport yesterday afternoon, where a fleet of Mercedes limousines picked them up.
But while a South-western Irish county with a population of under half a million may not sound like the most glam setting for the king and queen of excess, their choice of accommodation more than makes up for the down-to-earth destination.
The presidential suite, costing €2,750 a night, comes with its own sauna, dining room, living took and reception, while meals can be brought to the couple via elevator.
The suite, plus the Manor House's ten bedrooms, are thought to have been booked up for five nights – meaning Kanye may shell out a whopping €50,000 for his mid-week break in Ireland.
Unfortunately for the image-obsessed couple, the weather looks less than rosy this week in Cork.
While today and Wednesday are set to be fairly sunny, Thursday and Friday should bring plenty of showers – so a trip to kiss the Blarney Stone should probably be rearranged.
Ireland apparently holds a special place in Kanye's heart, with the rapper rumoured to have wanted to have a stag do in Dublin.
Kim joined her hubby in the Irish capital back two years ago as well, gifting Yeezy with a Lamborghini while he brought the Watch The Throne tour with Jay Z to Europe.
The newlyweds are thought to be visiting Dublin before they jet back to the States at the end of the week.
Cue the selfies in the Irish countryside...
