Revealed: How Arab playboys fly their supercars into London on chartered cargo jets (for the trifling sum of £20,000 per vehicle)

The car owners, many of them Qataris, Saudis, Emiratis and Kuwaitis, will happily pay a small fortune - in excess of £20,000 - for their metal marvels to be flown around 3,000 miles each way. Qatar Airways is one such airline that ships supercars from Doha to Heathrow. SECURED to the floor of their Airbus A330, the precious cargo can either be accommodated in a single row or in a side-by-side configuration (as demonstrated here with a Mercedes for the Dubai Airshow). The vehicles spotted in central London over the past few weeks often attract the attention of tourists and car enthusiasts, who are intrigued by the tailor-made versions of famous models from car manufacturers including Ferrari (bottom right), Rolls-Royce, McLaren and Lamborghini
