Birthday blues: David Moyes looks glum as he heads to Miami after nightmare week

IF ever someone deserved a break it was David Moyes.

After a week which saw him sacked from his dream job at Manchester United the Scot and his wife Pamela have headed to Miami.
And despite admitting to being disappointed following his brutal dismissal from Old Trafford, Moyes was in good enough spirits to head out for dinner to celebrate his 51st birthday.
However it did look as though the man once dubbed "The Chosen One" was struggling to smile as he dined with his wife.

Wearing jeans and a blue checked shirt the birthday boy looked decidedly glum as he left his wife to do most of the talking.
Moyes disastrous 10-month reign as manager came to an end on Tuesday after an early morning meeting with his Old Trafford bosses.

On Friday it was announced Moyes and United had reached an agreement over his severance deal.
The League Managers Association said: "The League Managers Association and Manchester United are pleased to confirm that terms of settlement have been agreed between the Club and David Moyes in respect of the termination of his employment.
