James Arthur 'gets the boot' from Simon Cowell label after terror lyrics row

X FACTOR winner James Arthur has reportedly been dropped from Simon Cowell's Syco label after he was accused of 'glamorising terrorism' in a new song.

The controversial lyrics feature on the 26-year-old's new song Follow the Leader, which is taken off his rap mixtape All The World Is A Stage.
The song is reported to include the line: “Look at what you do to me, I’m crying over stupid s***, you’re such a f****** homophobe, wish I’d never let you in, to think that I was thinking maybe I should let you live, I’m gonna blow up your family like I’m a terrorist.”
It is suggested music mogul Cowell is now keen to dump Arthur over his latest controversy.
A music source told The Sun: “It seems James is self-destructing.
"He has done himself no favours with his outbursts. It’s as if he’s almost willing Syco to drop him."
The new row comes after Arthur was recently involved in a string of online feuds.
He was also heavily scrutinised for making alleged homophobic slurs at the end of last year.
The Nicole Scherzinger-mentored act hit Twitter last night to defend his lyrics.
He claims the song is written in the style of rapper Eminem's hit Stan, in which a disillusioned fan writes to his one-time hero.
Arthur posted: "The song "follow the leader" from the mixtape is not promoting terrorism, it's a story, a reciting of a Stan Esc [sic] letter from a demented fan.
He later added: "As far as I know I am still with syco but I am exclusively signed to Sony. People look too deeply into the media circus. It's about music."
