THE future of Britain’s Got Talent was hanging in the balance last night after judge Alesha Dixon revealed Simon Cowell could quit the show.

Ratings are set to nosedive if he leaves, meaning the show could even be axed by ITV chiefs.
Sexy Alesha, 35, fears Cowell will walk out on the series and refuse to return in 2015.
She is convinced the move would leave the show in tatters and ratings would plummet.
BGT has been under fire in recent weeks from critics and viewers who have slammed the level oftalent this year.

And Alesha said the standard will drop even further if Simon, 54, is not on the panel.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Star Sunday ahead of last night’s final, she said: “I really hope he doesn’t leave.
"When Simon is on the panel people really want to impress him.

“They want to come along and get his approval.
"So it wouldn’t be the same show without him.”
Ratings for the current series topped 11million viewers at first but have struggled to stay that high.
Last Saturday’s semi-final heat pulled in the show’s lowest-ever figure for a Britain’s Got Talent live show.
Simon has been on the panel since it launched in 2007 and it takes up a large amount of his workschedule.
In 2011 it proved too much and he pulled out of judging at the audition heats, appearing only for the live shows.
But Alesha said: “I think Simon can relax on Britain’s Got Talent and have fun.
WINNERS: Collabro were crowned champions of this year's BGT [PA]
“You don’t often get to see that side of him. He really has got a great sense of humour.”
She also reckons Cowell is the real winner this year after she predicted five finalists will sign to his record label Syco.
The singer said: “I bet he’s very happy.
"Bars and Melody will get signed off the back of it.
“Collabro have a huge following as well.
"They look and sound great.
“Jack Pack are like a group of Michael Bublés and will clean up at Christmas.
"I know that Simon is a big fan.
“James Smith is right up there too.
"Then you have Lucy Kay who looks amazing and sounds amazing.”
