OSCAR PISTORIUS took acting lessons in preparation for his court appearances, a South African journalist has claimed.

The Paralympic and Olympic athlete has been seen crying and even vomiting throughout his murder trial.
He has regularly resorted to covering his ears and eyes during particularly graphic accounts of the wounds he inflicted upon Reeva Steenkamp when he shot and killed her on Valentine's Day 2013.
And now a former South African Sunday Times columnist has claimed the six-time Paralympic champion has been coached in preparation for his trial.
"I have it from a reliable source that you are taking acting lessons for your days in court," wrote Jani Allan on her blog.
She added that the 27-year-old's "coach has an impossible task" and described him as a "faux hero".
In the open letter to Pistorius she calls his story about mistaking Ms Steenkamp for an intruder "preposterously ridiculous" and says that even if it is true, it would still prove him a killer.

"The implication of this is that it would have been more acceptable to shoot an intruder the way you did – execution for behind a closed door," she wrote.
She concludes her letter by writing: "Oscar, you are the latest in a long line of faux heroes. Like so many who preceded you, you have betrayed your people and disappointed your fans."
As well as premeditated murder, Pistorius, who won two gold medals at the Paralympic Games at London in 2012, denies two further counts related to shooting a gun in public on separate occasions prior to the killing.
The trial is scheduled to resume on May 5 after a two-week break for Easter.
