Ukraine PM Arseny Yatseniuk blasts Russia's Vladimir Putin for encouraging World War Three

UKRAINE’S Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk accused Russia of sowing the seeds for World War Three.

He blasted President Vladimir Putin for creating a conflict that could spread to the rest of Europe.
They had occupied his country “militarily and politically”, he said, adding: “The world hasn’t forgotten the Second World War and Russia wants to start a Third World War.”
Ukraine said Russian troops had carried out exercises half a mile from its border.

And it warned it would treat any incursion as an invasion.
Ukrainian special forces were in the east of the country yesterday mounting a full blockade of the pro-Russian rebel-held city of Slaviansk.
But Yatseniuk’s “anti-terrorism operation” suffered a heavy blow after pro-Russian separatists managed to blow up an Mi-8 military helicopter.
Moscow has warned it may act if Kiev used the army against civilians.
Meanwhile, a spy scandal hit Ukraine exposing Russian attempts to find out its military secrets.
Ukrainian military officers were detained over accusations that they had been recruited by the GRU Russian military intelligence agency.
One was seized carrying a memory stick with top secret details of Ukraine’s defence plans in the event of a Kremlin invasion.
