#Tubestrike Commuters in travel hell as tube workers continue 48-hour strike

COMMUTERS faced travel hell this morning as Tube workers went on strike.

Members of the rail, maritime and transport union have walked out for 48 hours and London's commuters face yet another day struggling to get to work.
Stations were packed and congested and some faced more than half an hour wait to enter Underground tubes this morning.
The Central Line is running between White City and Ealing Broadway, between West Ruislip and North Acton, between Epping and Leytonstone and between Hainault and Liverpool Street only.
The Circle and Waterloo & City Lines have no service. All other lines have some form of service but lots of stations are closed.
The walkout is due to plans to close all ticket offices at a cost of 960 jobs.
Transport for London has said it hopes to run between 40 and 50 per cent of services.
