Sean Collins, 22, from Sunderland, far left and inset left, spent 12 hours making a sheep costume out of cotton wool balls and hairspray for his friend's 21st birthday party at a nightclub in Preston, Lancashire. But when doorman Thomas McGuiness, 24, bottom right, held a lighter to his outfit, the student was engulfed in flames, centre and centre right, and suffered severe burns that left him needing several skin grafts and extensive stays in hospital. Yesterday father of two McGuiness, from Chorley, was jailed for 18 months after admitting unlawful wounding.
