Mother admits punching her three-year-old son to death before putting his body in a suitcase and hiding it under a bush sparking a massive manhunt

The mother of three-year-old Mikaeel Kular, who sparked a vast manhunt when he vanished from his Edinburgh home in January, has admitted punching him to death in a brutal attack
Hundreds searched in January for tragic Mikaeel Kular (right), who lived in Edinburgh, before his body was later found in woodland 25 miles away in Kircaldy, Fife. His mother Rosdeep Adekoya (left) reported him missing - but had 'lost her temper' and beat him when he was sick following a trip to a Nando's restaurant. He was left with devastating internal injuries which took two days to kill him, but she did not take him to a doctor because of his bruises. When he died, she wrapped his body in a DUVET COVER, put it in a suitcase and hid it in a bush behind her sister's house 25 miles away. The 34-year-old had denied murder but today she admitted a lesser charge of culpable homicide at the High Court in Edinburgh
