Hooked on diet pills as well as heroin, obsessed with her mother's death and worried about money. . . the tragic truth behind Peaches Geldof's 'perfect life'
Friends of the late 25-year-old TV presenter, left, say she was fighting addictions to both heroin and diet pills - and had been in and out of rehab for several years. Partly fueling these dependencies, they say, were money troubles which meant she and her musician husband of two years, Tom Cohen, pictured centre with the couple's two children Astala, two, and Phaedra, one, were considering selling their family home. In the months leading to her death, Peaches was also becoming increasingly obsessed with the death of her mother Paula Yates from an overdose, posting a heart-breaking image of the two together hours before her death (right).
