And while Kim Kardashian is said to be over the moon about the dress she will wear to wed Kanye West, she had to leave the gown in the French capital as she headed back to Los Angeles on Thursday.
However, the 33-year-old star wasn't entirely empty-handed, and appeared to have picked up something from her visit to the Balmain showroom the day before.

While Kim headed into the airport, her driver was seen unloading a large bag from the store, along with a selection of suitcases.
Speculation about the contents of the bag included that Kim had chosen the designer to wear at the Met Gala on May 5th.
Kim looked sleek for the flight as she arrived wearing a pair of blush pink leather trousers with quilted detailing, teamed with a denim shirt and skyscraper heels.

The mother-of-one wore a black blazer over her outfit and completed her look with a pair of sunglasses.
With her hair pulled back and away from her face, and with clean and simple make-up, Kim looked effortlessly chic for her journey back home.
On Wednesday, Kim was seen visiting the Balmain showroom alongside tennis player pal Serena Williams.
And following their visit, a source close to the reality star E! News that Kim 'beyond loves' the dress she has chosen to wear on her big day.

While the friend of the star did not want to reveal too much, they said the gown is among one of the world's 'elite'.
Kim reportedly also has her bridesmaids' dresses picked out and has finalised her colour scheme for her big day which is set to feature 100 guests.
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Kim and Kanye will marry in Los Angeles this week, although the exact date has been kept a secret.

However, while Kim and Kanye's French nuptials on May 24th will no doubt be an over-the-top lavish do, this week's ceremony is due to be a much more low-key affair.

The insider explained: 'They plan to marry at Kris' house in Calabasas. Because it's a confidential license they took out the judge comes to them so they don't have to go to the courthouse.
'They are upset this got out because they figured no one had to know there was this legal wedding and would believe they would be celebrating them becoming man and wife for the first time in France, so it's kind of anti - climatic knowing the real wedding went down earlier.
