Paula Patton split with husband Robin Thicke because he was allegedly continuing an affair with a woman they were having a three-way relationship.
According to Star magazine, Paula and Robin had been carrying on a consensual ménage-a-trois with a massage therapist for two years.
But when Patton, 38, allegedly found out the other woman – who is being called Jasmine - and her husband were having a two-person affair, she called time on her marriage.

‘Paula felt betrayed and humiliated by both Robin and Jasmine,' said the insider who Star claim took a polygraph test.
‘These were two people she thought she could trust the most, but in the end everything backfired on her.’
Paula supposedly gave her husband of eight years another chance, and banned Jasmine from their home, but she couldn’t put her suspicions behind her and eventually the end of their marriage was announced in February this year.

Paula allegedly walked in on Robin and Jasmine while in the middle of a sexual act, but Thicke reportedly didn’t understand why his wife was upset.
‘Robin pushed Paula to allow Jasmine into the bedroom with them in order to spice up their sex life, and she reluctantly agreed in an attempt to keep him happy,” the source explains.
Thicke’s representatives have denied Star’s reports, while Patton’s team are yet to respond.

Reports of Robin’s affairs and infidelities have been coming in thick and fast since their break-up, but and he initially seemed to be trying to win her back with public declarations of love at his concerts.
But now neither Patton nor Thicke are wearing their wedding rings, and the actress was recently seen cosying up to Jeremy Renner at the Independent Spirit Awards earlier this year.

The 38-year-old and the actor, 43, starred together in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and were presenting an award together during the ceremony.
Neither Patton or Thicke have begun divorce proceedings.
If the reports are correct, it shares similarities with the alleged cause behind the break up of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher who reportedly enjoyed an 'open marriage'.
Demi called quits on the six-year marriage supposedly because of Ashton's reported affairs becoming ever more public.
