The X Factor boss, 54, brandished a campaign placard saying “Real men don’t buy girls” as he left his brother’s wedding.
He was joined by Prime Minister David Cameron who yesterday tweeted that he was “proud to support” the #BringBackOurGirls campaign.
Mr Cameron, 48, was snapped holding a card with the slogan following an appearance on BBC One’s Andrew Marr Show.
Both phrases have gone viral in recent days as concerns grow for 300 girls abducted from a school in northern Nigeria last month.
It is feared they will be forced into sex slavery by their captors, the Islamic extremist group Boko Haram.
Last night elite forces including Britain’s SAS hunting the girls were warned the terror gang may have laid landmines near their forest hideout.
It is also believed the captives have been split into four groups to foil the hunters.
One of the girls who managed to escape said the horrific experience had left her too scared to return to school.
Sarah Lawan, 19, said the kidnap raid was “too terrifying for words”.
