The celeb agent was sentenced today at London's Southwark Court where his six-week trial revealed how he used his celebrity contacts to “bully and manipulate” girls into sex acts.
During sentencing, Judge Anthony Leonard told Clifford: “Your offending is not trivial but of a very serious nature.
"I find your behaviour quite extraordinary and a further indication that you show no remorse."
He accused the 71-year-old of having a "contemptuous attitude" towards the woman he targeted and outlined that if the offences had been committed at this time, he would have been looking at a 10-year sentence.
Clifford, who became the first person convicted under the Met’s Operation Yewtree, was found guilty of eight counts of indecent assault on Monday after previously brandishing victims as "fantasists" and "opportunists".
During the six-week-trial, jurors heard how Clifford was a "master in the art of intimidation" and took "what he wanted, when he wanted", using his celebrity contacts to "manipulate" young girls.
He was said to use his Bond Street offices as a "sexual fiefdom", where "he toyed with their inexperience" to take advantage of them.
The court also heard how Clifford would talk to his "tiny penis", which is claimed to have measured just two-and-a-half inches.
“Her first sexual experience was the abuse perpetrated by the defendant and she missed out.”
Prosecutor Rosina Cottage QC
Prosecutor Rosina Cottage QC told the court how one victim missed out on "her first sexual experience with a loving partner" thanks to Clifford.
She said: "The experience of being made to go to court was horrifying for her.
"Her first sexual experience was the abuse perpetrated by the defendant and she missed out on what should have been a loving experience with someone her own age.
"Clifford's appearances on television and the radio "brought back feelings of intimidation and fear" and she was "extremely upset" when he denied the allegations in front of millions of people "calling them (his accusers) complete liars and saying they were anonymous".
Another of his victims turned down high profile film roles because "she was afraid of what she would be exposed to" at the hands of Clifford, the court heard.
Clifford, from Hersham, Surrey, who was acquitted of two indecent assault charges, ruled the claims a "load of lies" and brandished the whole ordeal "a nightmare".
Before sentencing today, a "disappointed" Clifford jokingly admitted it is "not the best day of my life".
And said: "I stand by everything I have said in the last 17 months.
"I just have to make the best of what the court gives me. It is the same as I have felt since it started 17 months ago, it is like living under a dark cloud.
"It is the same for my family... for my daughter and everyone close to me."
